Happy Mothers Day

Today is another day to celebrate the one who sacrificed the most when we are still inside their caring body. Not just any ordinary day of the year but this very day is the day to make us reminisce the great love mothers have for us.
I will remember this day in my entire life for it is the very first day I have said to my mother "Happy Mothers Day Mom!". Sounds funny to me or to you but I think it is very fulfilling to have said such wonderful words. I just can't stop thinking how she raised me in what I am now. Maybe by showing a little love and care to her will make her happy and remember that this day is her day that she would never forget how her son greeted for the very first time.

So guys if you haven't greeted yet, maybe this is the time you should show your love. For we don't know when our chances will last. Happy Mothers Day again and God bless you all.

Philippines is a rising Asian 'tiger'

Visiting Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper sees the Philippines as "an emerging Asian tiger," agreeing with the bullish outlook on the country of political and business leaders from many other parts of the world.
To demonstrate Canada's confidence in the Philippine economy, Harper pledged to increase Canadian investment in the country during his meeting with President Benigno Aquino in Malacanang yesterday.
Bilateral trade between Canada and the Philippines amounts to US$1.5 billion.
Aquino and Harper agreed to cooperate on defence and trade, and committed to people-to-people exchanges between the Philippines and Canada.
At a joint news conference, Aquino and Harper announced that the Philippine Department of National Defence and the state-run Canadian Commercial Corp. had signed a deal to help Manila buy military equipment to defend its territory.
The deal was signed amid a territorial dispute between the Philippines and China over islands and waters in the West P…

The Ubiquitous Mailbox

I find it difficult to think of a household without a mailbox. Be in the city or far flung areas, there it is fronting residence or located at the corner of the property. For as long as we have mail correspondence and magazine subscriptions, we will need this utility box and its importance is not diminished even in this computer age. There will always be mailboxes in residences and in commercial establishments as well. And we will always be visiting the mailboxes to check and collect mail and magazine deliveries. If so isn’t it about time to afford our mailboxes a little importance? In this age of identify thief and high incidence of thievery, it may be wise to consider to replacing our old mailboxes with more secure but affordable mailboxes consistent with the valuables that are expected to be deposited and temporarily stored in them.

Those building their new homes or commercial buildings particularly should consider mailboxes in their master plan. What type and where to locate the ma…
