Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is Beyond Expectations

Yesterday was the fight of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Ricky "Hitman" Hatton which delivered a blow to all boxing fans around the world. This fight was considered as the fight of the year and was labeled also as the fight of the decade. The two fighters are fighting the name of IBO Light Welter-weight Champion of the World but I think this is not the real deal. The real deal was the pride of each fighter and the name of who is the best in the Light Welter-weight Division.

As the fight is on and set, people cheering, chanting, singing, and taking part to support their boxer. You can hear the British sing their national anthem, shouting the name "Hatton" and "Hitman" and overwhelming the cheers of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's Fans. There were bass drums, trumpets and other intruments to let everyone know how die hard they support Hatton and Pacquiao. And then Michael Buffer was on the ring and introduced each fighter's national anthem. From the Philippines was Martin Nievera, from the British was Tom Jones and also was sang was the United States national anthem. And after all the singing Michael Buffer introduced first Ricky "Hitman" Hatton followed by Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. As each fighter was called to the ring, you can hear the people cheering and booing but all united when Michael Buffer said with his famous line "Let's get ready to rumble " and the people went wild and were ready to rock in the MGM but I think also to those people watching in their homes.

And the most awaited part came when the bell was sounded "ting ting ting", round 1 started. Early on Hatton set the phase to Manny. Setting the pressure high that is Hatton was known to all his boxing career. As seeing Hatton's way of fighting there is nothing new and you can see Manny Pacquiao secretly planning his next moves, fighting the style of Hatton. Then Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio used his combinations to lure the "Hitman" to his devastating right hook and the "Hitman" was down and you can see his face that he doesn't know where he was. The "Hitman" I saw was a worried face, worried maybe of the dissapointment he have done to what he said on his british folks "You will not be dissapointed". Then with the combinations of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao delivered endlessly to Hatton, Hatton was reduced to pieces. Hatton was knockdown the second time around in the first round and was save by the bell. All were shocked on what Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao did. And the second round started with Hatton hoping to bounced back, fighting in every way he knows and changing styles that Manny maybe would be surprised with a changing phase. Then it came the last highlight of the fight, Manny making statements that his right is just as powerful as his left making Hatton fell to the trap to lean defense on the right hook and opening him with Manny Pacquiao's trademark the famous left hook. Hatton was caught in the bait, never got up and was finished in the fight. British fans never believed it that their boxing superstar was crushed to dust.

Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio surpassed expectaions of many. They expected the fight to be a long one but it ended in just 2 rounds with a KO. Boxing analysts said about Manny will be crushed if he fights in Hatton's style of fighting but there it is, Hatton was crushed with his own style. After which, analysts said that Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao was a genius and quoted that "If you fight him with your style he will dominate you, if you brawl with him he will dominate you, if you make him a counter pucher he will dominate you and if you ever fight with him he will dominate you". Even I believe Manny can do everything when he is on the ring.

Now many have considered Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao as "The Best Boxer Ever Live". He is a genius but still he perseveres to learn new things that leads to his success. That inspired many in our time. He is still the No.1 Pound for Pound Champion of the World and hope to see him above Muhammad Ali's name in the books.

So keep rockin' guys and never stop learning like Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao does.
