The True Champions

Today was a great day but the sad part is that we haven't won the basketball championship. But I think the great part is that we showed them what IT or Information Technology Basketball Team has to offer. It's just that we lack some great players that the ESET Team has.

However this championship is really not a big deal of not winning it. Actually we gained much from it. From experiences to skills, we gained a lot from it. I think in the future we can handle things that are more difficult than of today.

I thank God of guiding us and keeping us away from any harm. The ball game was very clean and friendly so I think that game was terrific for both teams. Even though the opposing team won the championship, Information Technology Basketball Team is the true champion from every gained virtue and from the strong bond developed in the team.

The Weigh-in of "Pacman" and "Hitman"

Tomorrow will be the big day of millions of fans around the world of the two great fighter Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao of the Philippines and Ricky "Hitman" Hatton of Great Britain. Today was the weigh-in of the two boxers to hit the mark of junior-welterweight division. Manny got 138 pounds and Ricky got 140-pound limit. Philippines is a rising Asian 'tiger'

Visiting Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper sees the Philippines as "an emerging Asian tiger," agreeing with the bullish outlook on the country of political and business leaders from many other parts of the world. To demonstrate Canada's confidence in the Philippine economy, Harper pledged to increase Canadian investment in the country during his meeting with President Benigno Aquino in Malacanang yesterday. Bilateral trade between Canada and the Philippines amounts to US$1.5 billion. Aquino and Harper agreed to cooperate on defence and trade, and committed to people-to-people exchanges between the Philippines and Canada. Rockets Stagger Lakers -> 2-2 standings

The Houston Rockets drowned Los Angeles Lakers with a flourishing teamwork done in both ends of the floor. They have successfully defended even without their great player Yao Ming who suffered from left foot injury and will miss the entire playoffs. Sad to hear that their big man is out of the Playoffs but this does not stop the hungry Rockets to smash the stars of Lakers .
